By way of example, brief descriptions follow of some of the high level assignments that we have completed:
Business Continuity Planning: Since the early 1990s, W&A partners have been involved in extensive BCP activities. A particular emphasis involved major DOD projects in Australia, USA and UK. Recently, the focus has been broadened to include maritime and the oil and gas industries.
Business Process Improvement: Designed and implemented an improved tender preparation process (utilising a business process management software tool) that reduced tender preparation effort by more than 60% and improved the company's win/loss ratio from 30% to 70%.
Marketing Strategy Development: Supported the development of Telco and Public Sector strategies and implemented individual business plans at Account Director and Sales Executive level for a large multi-national organisation.
Selling Strategies: Supported a Telecommunications and Public Sector sales team of a multi-national corporation in achieving 100+ % of sales targets in the first year and 200+ % of targets in the second year in a newly created business unit.
Threat Simulation Exercises: Developed and conducted threat simulation exercises for maritime, oil and gas, and security industries. The simulation exercises tested all aspects of emergency response teams, management response capability, as well as involving external stakeholders and the media.
Knowledge Management: Developed comprehensive knowledge-based management plans, with supporting delivery tools and maintenance strategies, for a number of companies: Ford Australia, Tabcorp, ANZ, Nabalco, Melbourne Weekly, Australand and others.
Risk Management & Risk Mitigation Planning: Developed and conducted a comprehensive risk management program (with risk assessment, monitoring and mitigation strategies) for the $1Bn Defence Radar Project (JORN). This program covered both technical and commercial risks.
Contract Management: W&A partners have many years of experience managing and advising on a broad range of contract types ranging from federal government, state governments, major industry players nationally and with companies in the following countries: UK, France, Italy, USA, Malaysia, Brunei, India, Austria, Spain, Sweden and Germany.
