Client Experiences

Through working with our clients, W&A has accumulated an impressive experience base further broadening the services that we are able to offer.  In particular, we now have extensive expertise in house to support companies in the renewable energy industry.

By way of example, recent activities include the provision of management services to a renewable energy company and feasibility consulting and project management services for a proposed large-scale wind farm project.

The Board of a renewable energy company engaged W&A to assess the viability of its business operations which had been struggling to survive for some time; requiring continual injections of owner equity to remain solvent.

A set of recommendations from W&A led to the engagement of the company. W&A assumed responsibility for the management of the company and quickly established a new strategic direction and marketing focus, restructured the organisation, and implemented standardisation of processes and procedures (with supporting software tools).

The result was that, five months later, an independent valuation of the company by KPMG was extremely positive such that the Board commenced looking for external investors to fund the forecast growth.  The result was that two external venture capital companies (one Australian and one American) took a greater than 30% stake in the company.

The company is now one of the largest players in Australia's renewable energy industry.

W&A is very active in the renewable energy industry and is currently the project manager for a large wind farm feasibility study.  We are providing project management for the installation of a 60 metre wind measurement tower on the proposed site; in addition, modeling, technical and economic analyses are being undertaken on behalf of the client.
